Intercession
for Everyone! What is your image of
intercession? Boring, paranoid, superspiritual, the province of a spiritual
elite? Then you might benefit from a prayer training day.
Saturday, 11 May 2002, Holy Trinity Church,
Hounslow, Middlesex
Saturday, 18 May 2002, St Clements Church,
Oxford
Saturday, 23 November 2002, St Luke's Church,
Cranham, Essex
10am to 5.30 pm. 'Prayer Concert' at 4 pm
The training days will teach on the theology
and practice of intercession in a way that makes it more fun, more holistic,
more world-affirming and, above all, more accessible to everyone in the
church. The practical teaching will culminate in a 'Prayer Concert' where
there will be an opportunity to try out some of what has been learned and
experience different creative and fast-moving ways of praying. It is aimed
at anyone who feels a desire to pray, or for those who are already involved
in intercession but would like to learn more.
Cost of places is £5 each, including tea and
coffee, but bring a packed lunch.
